Well, since the topic is about culture, I'll talk about the culture I'm used to, the Bedan Way. But what is culture? Culture is the shared practices and values of people. The culture in San Beda was divided into two categories: the normal ones, and the not-so-normal ones. Normal ones are the normal ones and the not-so-normal ones are the ones that did not fit the "normal" style. Here are the differences of the two:
First, the physical appearance. If you don't go to bench fix for your hair, not-so-normal, And I learned that the hard way. Students in "Bene" truly like those who are in style. Also, wear accessories with anime logos labels one as a nerd. But not all students look at this though, there are good guys studying, or should I say partying in San Beda.
Second one, Attitude. Almost all "normal" students in "Bene" never back down. That is why there are many fights in the school. The most noticed one was the battle between the Juniors and the Seniors last year. Those who did not do anything are those who were out-of-place.
Lastly, The very nature of the student. Basically, those who are "pasaway", lazy when it comes to studying, party goers, sporty, and noisy are the ones we call normal students in San Beda. Bedans like the motto, "Study hard, Party harder". Bedans also have built in microphones that make teachers cry. Bedans also make their fellow students laugh through their wit. Those who are pokefans with a weird way of talking to each other are the ones no one wants to talk to.
That was the culture in San Beda. There was a line that separates the students to different categories. Discrimination was somewhat normal in there. But some students dare to change that, and somehow, it worked. That line is gone. Everyone is normal now in San Beda. Our batch showed that everyone is equal by being united to accomplish one goal, to graduate.
